Himalayan Healer's Sister Location

Himalayan Healers is an innovative, pioneering project – the first of it’s kind in the world.
We are the only project that is directly addressing the issues of “Untouchability” via the instruction of Touch Therapies.
This provides a level of healing on a personal and community level – in a peaceful manner – that is immeasurable.

Himalayan Healers also recognizes that Nepal is a nation of need –
As such, we have open admissions and provide training and support to any and all. As a result, our training and employment has also focused upon
assisting victims of human trafficking, victims of domestic violence, war widows, and others of profound need.

Become a "Sister" Location!

We are hopeful of establishing "Sister" relationships with at least 30 locations,
nationwide in 2010. If you have any suggestions, contacts, or interest, please let us know.

In particular we are hopeful of connecting with massage therapy schools, massage therapists, spas,
yoga centers, health professionals, coffee shops, and other grass-roots community organizations.
Also, classrooms would be a wonderful success.

As an example, a massage therapist in Connecticut is offering free 30 minute massages to any of
her clients that commit to a $7.50 / month subscription on our website. Once enrolled on our
website each client prints their receipt to redeem their free massage.

Our intention behind the "Sister" relationships is to raise awareness and funds, in a simple, no-
pressure, effective manner.

The basic vision of creating a "Sister" relationship is:

Help spread the word and raise awareness of our work at Himalayan Healers
Help raise funds to build our school in a low-pressure, effective, and fun manner

Our structure and hope is that each massage school would be willing to collect 40 online
subscriptions of $5 each from our website's "Support Himalayan Healers" page.

This can be achieved by asking massage students to donate massage services at the student clinic
in exchange for an online subscription. A few hour's worth of work among 20 students and
this can be achieved.

If spas, yoga centers, etc... would like to do the same it would be simply wonderful.

With a goal of 30 "Sister" centers collecting 40 subscriptions each, we will raise enough
funds to build the entire school.

With one or two week’s focused efforts to collect 40 online subscriptions, fundraising will be
provided year-round for Himalayan Healers in Nepal. Ideally, this could be repeated the following
year, with new products to offer or new efforts.
